I just notice something after rewatching the lord of the flies all 3 movies, but Frodo just carries a ring and doesn't do much besides be in danger and having the others to save doesn't even bring nothing to the table, he only save smeagol and doesn't even tell smeagol why he lured into a tap in the second movie and this one. sam is real hero, he saved Frodo more than onces. and you can see his passion for help Frodo, hes not getting paid or anything like that. he really wanted to help Frodo bc he really cares about him. now of days. you don't seeing anybody on real life, people help to get something out of it. but when I was younger and living in the 90s. you could see a lot especially in children to be a good friend.
When the officer first walks into the room and cuts his sentence short there isn't a poster on the wall. Love this movie. There's not a day goes by, I don't feel regret; not because I'm in here, because you think I should. The most powerful sentence in my opinion. Try Casablanca first... That part with the Friends theme was awesome, the most I've laughed in a long time. This scene destroyed me the first times I watched this movie o_O. Maybe it's silly but sometime when I face a tough situation in my life and I feel powerless and hopeless; I remember how Andy dug a tunnel with his rock hammer for 19 years, 19 YEARS... to gain his freedom. This film deserved Best Picture at the Oscars, I can't believe it didn't win it. It's one of the best films ever made. This film breaks down the essence of human existence, embodies the human condition, and shows that when knocked down there is always hope. Just as Andy said "hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies. That is what this film is it is not just a prison film it is not just a redemption story it is truly a lesson. This film is a masterpiece only a few films in existence come remotely close to this movie but none can compare.

You can tell Heywood regrets having provoked the fat guy into crying, which eventually led to his death. I would recommend this film to everyone because what you get out of it is all based on your beliefs but everyone can agree that this is a masterpiece that should endure throughout the ages. The characters are varied and very believable, makes you want to root for some and hate others. The plot is engaging and suspenseful and keeps you guessing to the end what the different characters outcomes will be.
